Coming Soon!
Available October 14th:

Baltimore, Maryland, is a city in alarming distress. Rising violence is fanning the flames of public outrage, and all law enforcement agencies, including the FBI, are catching blame. Thus the FBI’s latest ideas to improve public relations: a municipal softball league and workshops for community leaders. But the new commitments just mean more time Special Agents Ty Grady and Zane Garrett have to spend apart when they’re happily exploring how to be more than by-the-book partners.

Then the latest spate of crime explodes in their faces—literally—throwing the city, the Bureau, and Ty and Zane’s volatile partnership both in and out of the office into chaos. They’re hip-deep in trouble, trying to track down bombers and bank robbers in the dark with very few clues, and the only way to reach the light at the end of the tunnel together requires Ty and Zane to close their eyes and trust each other to the fiery end.

Congratulations, I can't wait! October 14th is circled on the calendar - one day later and it would have been Zane's birthday. :)

spoiler alert?
Just got Divide and Conquer- in ebook because I'm going to wait on the paperback until I can combine shipping with something else. I absolutely loved seeing more from Zane and Ty. The plot was unique, but honestly, I don't read it for [crime of month], but for Ty/Zane, and you came through times a thousand. It was such an emotional roller coaster (which is good), but I love Ty singing and dress blues *sigh* and meeting some of the recon team and the "I Love Yous". The blind-Zane was heartbreakingly and heartwarmingly intimate, and the fight was just so them. And that last line- you had better FIX THAT ASAP, OKAY? Seriously, you get me all attached and then go breaking hearts right and left. But I loved every single paragraph, and I really need to get back to my responsibilities before I re-read it. Though it's tempting to just click back to page one.

RE: Armed and Dangerous preview- Sounds exciting as always, and now I have to go re-read Warrior's Cross. Yay crossover!
/babbling fangirl comment. This is what you get when I read something with that much awesome in one sitting. All the feelings come spilling out.

Finished it and thought it was the best so far. complex and enthralling. And the end was devastating.

So having said that and read the excerpt at the end, when will we see the next book? It can't be too soon.

And I just finished reading Warriors Cross again to get ready. How I love Julian and Cameron.

I woke up this morning from a dream where Ty was singing a song to Zane softly, as they lay in bed together, Zane wrapped up in Ty's arms and Ty's gorgeous voice soothing and strong and his whole body, his voice, his words radiating how much he's completely, totally, in love with the man in his arms. The song was Mona Lisas and Mad Hatters by Elton John.

I woke up, once again extremely happy that you wrote the Cut & Run series with these gorgeous, strong, beautiful men. If I never get to read another book from the series, I will remember them as my favorite M/M couple, and be grateful that you and Madeleine Urban shared their story with us.

I've just seen Madeleine's exit post on her Livejournal. While this news comes as a shock and makes me very sad, could you pass on to her that this reader in particular understand and am not angry or upset. She needed/needs to do what is right for herself and if writing doesn't fit into her life's journey anymore then at least I for one am glad that she ever wrote at all. She's an amazing, brilliant, writer, and together Abigail, you and her wrote magic and beauty and the most perfect gay couples. I hope you'll say what's in store for the Ty and Zane now, but if D&C is the end, and even if it's incomplete in regards to the series, that's still okay. I'm grateful for the books we did get.

I just read Madeleine's exit post and I just wanted to let her know that although I am sad as a fan, I have to agree with the post above in that if this is the best for her and her family then that's what needed to happen. I am grateful for the books you both have created, especially Ty and Zane, they are my favorite book characters ever. I hope there will be more but like the fan above said if it ends now then I'll still be happy to have the amazing stories you both have created. Thank you! Much love to you and her.

Hi,

Thanks for sharing with us your wonderful work. I appreciate it, and while -as a reader- I will always want more, I do understand that on the other side there are more things involved in making a decision.

I want to say thank you for your reassuring message, and I can't wait to read the next books.

Take care,

I was checking to see when the next book in the series was coming out - I'm sure I saw mid-January mentioned somewhere but that seems very soon - and I stumbled across Madeleine's exit note. I'm sorry to see her leave but I am glad that you will continue with this excellent series. I really love the books and want to read more.
I've friended you here and I've also asked to be your friend on Facebook as this is the way I keep informed about what is happening. I don't post much but I do comment.
Please, when you know about the next book, please make an announcement.
Question - Dreamspinner will still be publishing you, won't they? Finally, your link to the excerpt doesn't work any more.

I just devoured all the Cut & Run books in like two weeks and now I discover Ms. Urban's retirement message! Nooooooo! What a fantastically addictive story you two have created...I do hope you continue in her absence. If not, thank you for giving me some fun books to get me through my final exam season!

i just finished re-reading all 4 books. I've been "twitchy" awaiting news of the next installment, and figured to alleviate my ty/zane fix with a re-read--again.

Then i stumbled across Madeleine's announcement. as a wife and mother i can completely appreciate that family must always come first. however, as a fan, i feel devastated that the series may not continue...i hope that it will, if for no other reason than these two phenomenal characters deserve resolution and a HEA.

i will be on the lookout for updates, and hope that one day Madeleine will be able to write again as she is extremely talented, and her stories deserve to be heard.

:)
